With beautiful artwork from Rene Bouvard, this 1949 poster for "Cie Gle Transatlantique", or the "Compagnie Generale Transatlantique" shows an ocean liner sailing through the clear night with colourful fireworks filling the sky and accordingly reads "C'est toujours Fete" or "It's always a party".
The Compagnie Generale Transatlantique was a French shipping company founded in 1855 that gained worldwide prominence with its ocean liners in the early 20th century. This brilliant piece is the larger size of the design and is in mint condition and backed on museum quality linen to ensure its preservation for the decades to come.

The frame size is the size of the poster plus an additional 70mm on each side if including a mount.

Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.
International shipping for unframed posters is £25. International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40") size
