This wonderful poster promotes the exhibition of 'L'Expressionnisme Europeen" or "European Expressionism" at the Musee National d'Art Moderne in Paris. The exhibition ran from May to July 1970 and featured many of the greats of the movement.
The design features Edvward Munch's iconic 1893 artwork "The Scream" which is a great example of Munch's distinctive style and of expressionism as a whole. The Norwegian great Edvard Munch is best known for his painting & pastel work between the late 19th century and early 20th century.
This wonderful poster is from the original exhibition and is in mint condition.

Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.
International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size.
