Bozar Brussels produced a large retrospective with work by the legendary American artist Keith Haring. This friend and colleague of both Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat was a unique and striking appearance in New York in the 1980s. With his instantly recognizable style, he played a very important role in counterculture. Haring is especially famous for its iconic motifs: barking dogs, crawling babies and flying saucers. He wanted to make 'public art', which he distributed through his Pop Shop, the media, the metro and the public urban space. He found inspiration in abstract expressionism, pop art, Japanese calligraphy and the work of New York graffiti artists. At the same time, his unique, spontaneous-looking style was influenced by the energy of the time in which he lived, from space travel to hip hop and video games. A powerful oeuvre that is still very topical.

This original poster is from the exhibition and is brand new in mint condition, with great colour and iconic Haring design.
