Robert Rossen's high-stakes classic "The Hustler" was released in 1961 to major commercial and critical success. Nominated for 9 Academy Awards, the film follows Paul Newman in one of his most iconic roles as "Fast" Eddie, a pool hustler determined to make it to the top. Regarded as one of the greatest films of modern times, it spawned a sequel 25 years later - "The Colour of Money" - for which Newman would finally win his Best Actor Oscar reprising his role.
This stunning vibrant pop-art design is a very rare case of a re-release poster being more sought after and valuable than the original. "The Hustler" was re-released in 1964 following the mis-marketing of the original release to enjoy even wider success, and this brilliant and rare poster was produced.
Framing Options

Each frame is made from high quality solid oak and the artwork is available to be framed with or without a surrounding white mount to make the poster stand out even more. Our frames are custom built to order in our UK workshop, and so we work to 7-14 working days lead time for dispatch. Please note that due to their custom nature, frames are non-refundable with the exception of if they are damaged or incorrect. The frame size is the size of the poster plus an additional 70mm on each side if including a mount.

Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.
International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size
