With the slogan "Dawn of a New Day", the 1939 New York World's Fair was the first fair that focussed on looking to the future and showing guests "the world of tomorrow". One of the most expensive fairs ever at the time, the fair was greatly affected by the start of World War II just a few months before it opened.
This stunning poster was created ahead of the fair in 1939 to promote it and features a brilliant design by Joseph Binder depicting the Trylon and Perisphere built for the fair. Printed by Grinnell Litho Ltd. in New York, this piece is in fantastic condition.

Each frame is made from high quality solid oak and the artwork is available to be framed with or without a surrounding white mount to make the poster stand out even more. Our frames are custom built to order in our UK workshop, and so we work to 7-14 working days lead time for dispatch. Please note that due to their custom nature, frames are non-refundable with the exception of if they are damaged or incorrect. The frame size is the size of the poster plus an additional 70mm on each side if including a mount.

Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.
International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size
