Stunning poster from 1925 created by Marcello Nizzoli for Italian liquor brand Campari.
Campari was formed in 1860 by Gaspare Campari and the aperitif is as popular today as ever. Gaspare's son Davide Campari transformed the company into what it is widely recognised as today in 1926.
This beautiful poster is perhaps the most iconic of all Campari's famous poster advertisements. The artwork depicts a bottle of Campari with a small serving glass and a selection of olives set against a dark red background. Reading "Cordial Campari Liquor" the poster was distributed to bars and restaurants around Italy to promote the brand in the 20s.
Nizzoli was an important figure in commercial art & design in the early to mid 20th century. The Italian artist, designer and architect created numerous iconic poster artworks such as this design, and was also the chief designer at Olivetti for many years.
This poster is in mint condition, backed on museum quality linen to ensure its preservation for the decades to come.
Framing Options

The frame size is the size of the poster plus an additional 70mm on each side if including a mount.

Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.
International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size
