One of the most influential artists of the 20th century, Jean-Michel Basquiat rose to prominence in the 1970s and early 1980s. Achieving so much in such a short space of time, his neo-expressionist artworks were social commentary using painting, drawing, graffiti, poetry and far more.
This brilliant poster features a portrait photograph of the artist as a child and is from the smash hit "King Pleasure" exhibition in New York which ran from April to December 2022. The exhibition, organised by the family of the artist, featured over 200 never before seen paintings and many rarely seen paintings and other artworks.

Each frame is made from high quality solid oak and the artwork is available to be framed with or without a surrounding white mount to make the poster stand out even more. Our frames are custom built to order in our UK workshop, and so we work to 7-14 working days lead time for dispatch. Please note that due to their custom nature, frames are non-refundable with the exception of if they are damaged or incorrect. The frame size is the size of the poster plus an additional 70mm on each side if including a mount.

Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.
International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size
