1980 Olympic Games Moscow

Held from July to August 1980, the 1980 Moscow Summer Olympic Games, or Games of the XXII Olympiad were the first and to date only to be staged in Eastern Europe. The Soviet Union won the event, with 66 countries led by the USA boycotting due to the ongoing war in Afghanistan. 

This beautifully designed poster was created as part of a series to promote the games in the build up to the event. Depicting a white dove in first place on the podium, this brilliant piece is in fantastic condition.

The frame size is the size of the poster plus an additional 70mm on each side if including a mount.

Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.

International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size
