Featuring fantastic artwork by Laurence Gaynour depicting an abstract impression of the US Capitol Building and the Washington Monument, this poster was created in 1965 to promote American Airlines routes to Washington.
One of, if not the largest airline in the world, American Airlines was founded in 1926 and continues strong to this day. This gorgeous mid century poster is a great piece of advertising and aviation history from the hay-day of air travel.

Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.
International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size
