Depicting the a scene from the classic children's fairytale "The Ugly Duckling", this beautiful poster was created in 1952 to promote the city of Odense in Denmark.
Known as the birthplace of the legendary writer Hans Christian Anderson, the writer of the featured "The Ugly Duckling" as well as iconic tales such as "Thumbelina", "The Princess and the Pea", and "The Little Mermaid", Odense is one of the largest cities in Denmark. This gorgeous piece features artwork by Viggo Vagnby and is backed on museum quality linen to ensure its preservation for the decades to come.
Framing Options

Each frame is made from high quality solid oak and the artwork is available to be framed with or without a surrounding white mount to make the poster stand out even more. Our frames are custom built to order in our UK workshop, and so we work to 7-14 working days lead time for dispatch. Please note that due to their custom nature, frames are non-refundable with the exception of if they are damaged or incorrect. The frame size is the size of the poster plus an additional 70mm on each side if including a mount.

Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.
International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size
