This incredibly rare poster was created in 1950 to advertise Dutch electronics brand Philips. Founded in 1891, Philips was one of the biggest electronics brands in the UK and continues to trade today, focusing on health technology. Reading "Eclairez Vous Mieux", or "Enlighten You Better", this gorgeous poster depicts a young child and teddy inside an illuminated lightbulb. Lightbulbs were the companies first offering.
This extra large piece was designed by the iconic poster and graphic designer Bernard Villemot. Known for his minimalist Art Deco aesthetic, his works for the likes of Bally, Orangina, Perrier and Air France are among the most influential and sought after pieces of advertising history.

Please note that due to their custom nature, frames are non-refundable with the exception of if they are damaged or incorrect. The frame size is the size of the poster plus an additional 70mm on each side if including a mount.

Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.
International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size
