Gorgeous poster featuring Fernand Leger's 1928 artwork "Le Coquillage" for the Galerie Beyeler in Basel, Switzerland. The poster advertises the galleries exhibition "Letters and Numbers, Writing the Picture" which ran from March to May 1980.
The highly influential Leger was born in France and regarded as the creator of Tubism, a form of Cubism, and is thought of as one of the early creators of Pop Art. This piece is in mint condition and extremely rare.

Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.
International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size
