Widely regarded as the greatest sequel of all time (certainly one of), The Empire Strikes Back smashed into movie theatres in 1980 and changed blockbuster films and science fiction forever. Following the huge success of the original Star Wars, this sequel, or ultimately 5th chronological film follows Luke, Leia, Han, Chewbacca, C-3PO and R2-D2 as they fight to defeat the Galactic Empire lead by Darth Vader.
This stunning poster is from the original release of the film in 1980. It is one of the rarer and more sought after designs and shapes, being from the UK release and featuring Tom Jung's excellent artwork in a different format to the more widely seen US One-Sheet designs. The Empire Strikes Back logo is shiny and metallic.
The piece is in great shape with several flaws and it is a prime example for minor restoration and linen-backing, or alternatively would look fantastic framed as is already.

Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.
International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size
