Balto - Melange Americain

With vibrant and vivid colour, this charming poster designed by the iconic poster designer Pierre Fix-Masseau was created in 1960, advertising French brand Balto Melange Americain cigarettes. The poster was used for advertisement on the SNCF Railway and was printed by S.A Courbet.

Fix-Masseau collaborated with Balto and other cigarette brands on many occasions, and his stylised work was synonymous with French advertising of the era with his works for the likes of Bally and the Venice Simplon Orient-Express.

The frame size is the size of the poster plus an additional 70mm on each side if including a mount.

Unframed posters are shipped to the UK next day courier delivery free of charge. Framed posters can take up to 14 working days for dispatch for the frame to be built and poster to be framed. Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.
