Wassily Kandinsky - Centre Georges Pompidou

Produced in 1986, this poster depicting the work "Vert Odorant" was created by The Centre Georges Pompidou to advertise the expanded exhibition of works of the famed Russian artist. The Museum held pieces as a result of donations in 1966 and 1976. In 1981, the Museum came into bequest of the artists widow Nina Kandinsky and today now showcases around 50 pieces.

Born in 1866 in Moscow, Wassily Kandinsky is widely credited as the pioneer of Abstract art. An Art Theorist as well as painter, he taught at the likes of Bauhaus school of art before moving to France during the War.

International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size
