This beautiful original poster is from 1929, advertising a football match between Spanish club Valencia CF and the English National Team. Held at the famous Mestalla Stadium, the home of Valencia since 1923 (and still remarkably to this day), this beautiful art deco design has incredibly vibrant colour.
The design for this poster was created and used for a number of years to advertise matches for the club when they played at home, with the green bottom area of the poster left blank for printing for each fixture. The thought of a club playing a national team seems bizarre nowadays, so this piece is a really wonderful insight into European footballing history. A stunning piece is mint condition and maintaining its extremely vibrant colour is remarkable considering its near 100 year age.

The frame size is the size of the poster plus an additional 70mm on each side if including a mount.

Frames are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard box. Unframed posters are packaged and securely padded in a purpose built reinforced cardboard tube.
International shipping for unframed posters is £25 . International shipping for framed posters is a charge of £125 as a flat rate up to US One-Sheet (27 x 40”) size
